Someone should start asking why we’re hearing and seeing Stephen Miller so much all of a sudden.

Our media lets us down badly :

Labours accomplishments - rarely mentioned

Nigel Farage’s house - dropped/ignored

Nathan Gill’s admission of working for Russia - zilch

Russia/Iran funding Reform/Farage - silence

Instead they spread lies on the Budget/MPs/anything to discredit Labour

Why????

Pleased to see that the @newsagents.bsky.social picked up on this article about diversity in adverts too.

The utterly unrepresentative Tango Man really does typify where we've got to on this.

"..they’re a ... pipeline that’s designed to directly connect American conservative ideology with British Political infrastructure, fossil fuel money and algorithm native media into a single, highly effective and coherent operation"

This is the way it's going.

That's why some of us work hard behind the headlines to be sure that better people get elected.

What we have today is far from perfect, though is an order of magnitude better than we had.

It's going to take a generation here and the USA to get the balance right again

I think the issue is installation, it's easy to make kits available but less straightforward when you're bolting a fragile kite sail to the railings. Probably does require some compliance oversight.

If you still think there's something "it's complicated" about Israel/Palestine you should probably read this.

"The “peace process” became a magic pill rendering the occupation invisible, disguising its metastisizing, omnipresent and violent form. Palestine was reduced to a subject of “negotiation”, with the 1948 ethnic cleansing of Palestine swept under the rug"

Just to note, the “hordes” being referred to in this @telegraphnews.bsky.social headline works out to around 400 overseas workers employed by the civil service - or around 0.07% of the total civil service workforce.
