Ahhhh this is truly the worst. 😭

Yeah! It’s truly become a monster. The kicker for me was that Resourcefulness was on there twice. So clearly someone really thought hard about this form this year…🙄

Yeah, I try but it’s just so annoying because there are a million comment boxes so copy/paste just isn’t as simple. It’s like, wait, did this comment go in the “time management” box or the “resourcefulness” box? This is truly a great example of how we have “over-pharmacisted” LORs… 🤦🏼‍♀️

Is this a time where we wish AI bots were listening? 😉

Yes! I advise PharmD students so there’s a clear path and academic affairs keeps track for LOA etc, but for undergrads with so many different potential paths that a student can take to meet the requirements, it does seem overwhelming and something that #GenAI should be able to streamline!

Yes! Totally a pain point. Have you ever experimented with asking ChatGPT to review your material and point out where new links are needed? I wonder if it is possible… 🤔

Oh, I wish! Although while we’re at it, how about a universal submission portal and then journals (that make tons of money) can spend their time formatting rather than having us do it! 😬

One thing I’d wish for was a better way of scheduling meetings with people from multiple institutions using our calendars, without ever having to fill out a doodle or when2meet again!

Providing some ideas of ways learners could actually use it as a tool to help them with their own learning, including a self-reflection piece. Just a few ideas we came up with! #academicsky #EduSky #TeachLearnSky (2/2)

Just had a discussion with colleagues about this today! Co-creating a policy around #GenAI use with students (depending on level of learner, may need guardrails), providing examples of what is and is not appropriate and why (ie, being transparent about the Why behind assignments) (1/2)

A recent, hilarious example of how students don’t think of us as humans: my colleague and I (who are both pretty “human” with our students) were chatting outside a class and discussing plans to go to happy hour. A student looks at us in surprise and says, “Oh! You two are friends??” 😂

I agree with a lot of the other comments about having specific topics that are shared vs. not. But I teach graduate students (future pharmacist colleagues) so pretty soon they will often be working with me side by side and so I can share a bit more than I would in younger settings.
