Going through some boxes that belonged to my sister Cassie Ogdon (d.1987) and came across this songbook of resistance songs from her Roxby Downs blockade days, circa August 1983. The contents pages are a feast of protest songs.

Regarding the ABCs reporting of the Marles/Hegseth meeting in the US, it’s the comment ‘and America’s expanding military presence in Australia’ that really caught my attention.
We really don’t want more US military here, it smacks of intrusive control and interference. @albomp.bsky.social #auspol

To celebrate breaking my #writersblock and starting #Uni classes again today after midyear break I thought a little #baking was in order. Today it’s a Greek Yoghurt Coffee #Cake, it has no coffee in it but meant to be eaten with coffee. I made one for me and one for my neighbours.
