Australians are rightly shocked and disgusted by Sussan Ley accusing the Labor govt of not showing enough grief at the Bondi attack. The sick politicisation of terrorism by the Liberals - ignoring calls for unity - has been so ugly. Days before Christmas. Shame on all of them!

Sussan Ley is clearly so far out of her depth that she deserves to be sacked by her party, purely for her own good.

This is perhaps the most contemptible thing any political leader has ever said in this country.

The sooner she f*cks off to obscurity the better for Australia.

NSW to effectively ban protests for up to three months as premier links Gaza rallies to Bondi terror attack
Chris Minns says state ‘can’t risk another mass demonstration on that scale in NSW [because] the implications can be seen, in my view, on Sunday’

I couldn’t agree more - “Chris Minns open to arming Jewish security group with links to Israel” - how more decisive and inflammatory can we get?
This is not just a bad idea. It elevates Jewish security over that of all other religious or demographic categories in Australia that have faced racism, threats or persecution (muslims, First Nations, gays, trans…).

A very bad precedent and appallingly ill conceived.

This is one of Albanese’s three great betrayals of the Australian people.

1. Woodside over the environment and indigenous heritage

2. US military complex over the entire budget and our sovereignty

3. Gambling industry over the most vulnerable.
“Australians lose close to $32 billion a year from gambling” but “Labor's leadership decided it was not worth acting on gambling advertising and upsetting the powerful lobby”.
Pure ALP.
Fear rules on gambling in Albanese government
Andrew Wilkie has asked the PM to allow a free vote on banning gambling advertising and it appears many Labor MPs would support it.

But this periodical caught my eye, love the name! We need more colourful names for our journals etc.
