Trump is attacking journalists - called one piggy! - because they have the power to correct his lies and critique his behaviour. Journalists should remember how important this power is to democracy and have the courage to keep using it no matter what the deranged bully president says about them.

Texas influencer based in Russia. Wouldn’t be surprised if most MAGA influencers are Russian based. That’s the state of the manipulated (happy to be manipulated because hate is seductive) world.
X has changed their policy and now you can see where the accounts are based.

Here’s an “influencer from Texas”

The Liberals and News Corp show through their blatant opposition to climate action that they represent the interests of billionaires, and couldn’t care less if the earth become inhabitable. My analysis👇🏻

Liberals and News Corp in lock-step with interests of climate denying billionaires
Despite the spin, the Coalition and News Corp remain mouthpieces for billionaire interests bent on stalling climate action and truth alike.

How Pacific nations plan to go from spending up to 25% of GDP on fossil fuels to running on 100% renewables
Pacific nations spend billions each year importing fossil fuels for electricity. Now the region’s leaders are aiming for energy independence.

The Liberal Party have made themselves entirely irrelevant by dropping net zero. Fine by me.

The New York Times have had Epstein’s compromising evidence of Trump’s involvement with “young” girls for a decade. Let that settle in. Predating Trump’s first presidency.
To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?
“would you like photos of donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen?” -Jeffrey Epstein

Fantastic piece by Alison Pennington and Michael Wright about the need to tax wealth more than we tax work. 💯

Working hard in Australia no longer pays off
When labour is taxed more than wealth, society is less civilised and not innovative. Diligence and dynamism are devalued, and living standards are sacrificed.

Let’s see those files!
BIG NEWS: Congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva will finally be sworn in as a member of Congress tomorrow.

She is likely to be the 218th vote on the Epstein discharge petition, which would force a full vote to release the Epstein files in their entirety.

Another way to say this is two thirds want net zero to stay - a healthy majority. Lead with that.

The controversy engulfing the #BBC underscores the powerful forces that seek to undermine public broadcasting & that have also weakened the ABC. Pandering to those forces never works.

Was News Corp paid to platform the mining industry’s anti-working rights propaganda, or do they just do it for free because they exist to bash unions and in turn Labor?

The New York Times have finally (although timidly) raised the possibility that there might be some issues with American democracy. To which I say “where have you been for the past ten months and the decade before that?” My analysis:

New York Times shows how media have failed American democracy
The New York Times’ timid epiphany exposes how America’s media helped pave Trump’s road to authoritarianism.

Just watched online presentation by a US constitutional law expert who talked about America sliding into authoritarianism. Someone asked him what country has the strongest democracy in the world. He said the US 😳 I guess Australia - mandatory pref voting, independently operated - doesn’t exist then?

Next you’ll be telling me he referred to his second cousins as his first cousins once removed, the absolute villain, the rapscallion, the horse thief

“The official said” doing a lot of heavy lifting in this piece of “journalism” (it’s actually stenography).

It is true that the Young Republicans' group chat has exposed the underlying racism and white supremacy of the Republican Party. Indeed, to understand this racism and white supremacy, you only have to look at Trump's agenda. My analysis:

Republican White supremacy exposed through Trump’s agenda
From leaked chats to Trump’s political record, the Republican Party’s embrace of White supremacy is no longer hidden — it’s the strategy.

New headline: TRUMP LIED! YET AGAIN!
Demolition crews have begun tearing down part of the White House to build President Trump’s long-desired ballroom — despite his pledge that construction of the $250 million addition wouldn’t “interfere” with the existing building. https://wapo.st/4hl7jyF

Trump is destroying the White House to show how powerful he is. He wants to show off that he can literally do whatever he likes without consequences. He doesn’t have to ask for permission or tell anyone it’s going to happen. It’s an authoritarian act.
It’s not his house. It’s your house. And he’s destroying it.
October 21, 2025 at 8:55 PM
In just a few days, “King Trump” dumped figurative 💩 on Americans and is now tearing down a wing of the White House to build gold ballroom. Surely some of his rusted on MAGA faithful are considering peeling off. I know they’re there for the bigotry and trolling, but there has to be a limit for some?
Trump hosted a dinner last week for donors helping fund his ballroom project.

Today, crews are starting construction and literally tearing down parts of the White House.

It's day 20 of the government shutdown and this is what he's prioritizing?

NYT can’t call a spade a spade when it comes Trump. They even call Trump’s 💩 “brown liquid”. Total cowards.
NYT sanewashing extends, apparently, to sparing NYT readers from a description of Trump's literal shit.

I’m not sure Trump taking a dump on America is the winning analogy he seems to think it is. The best reply I’ve seen to this post is simply: shitler 💩

Fantastic.

I can't think of two people better suited to each other.

They'll need a larger meeting room to fit both egos in the door, and they'll need to buy a bigger bar fridge.

And just like the Mark Latham debacle, I give it 12 months.
