The Liberals reunite in Coalition with the Nationals promising to campaign against immigration. So if they can’t beat One Nation, they join them. The Coalition has always existed to divide and conquer in Australia. None of this is a surprise but it’s also so depressingly disappointing.

I thought the claim was a staffer posted it? Yet Trump is admitting here that he was responsible for posting the “strong post” which was outrageously racist. They can’t even keep their story straight for a day.

I hope that after the failed terrorist attack on Indigenous Australians that the RC into social cohesion and antisemitism will make time and space to consider how hatred directed at racial and religious minorities is also being directed at Aboriginal people. It was only luck that bomb didn’t go off.

Police are saying the terrorist who threw a bomb into the Perth Invasion Day rally was “pro white male” (what? Don’t you mean white supremacist?) and acted alone after being radicalised online. How many times do I have to say it: NO ONE RADICALISES THEMSELVES!

Naming someone is not doxxing. They aren’t undercover. They aren’t intelligence agents overseas. This is outrageous - we are supposed to be a free Republic and these people want an authoritarian police state. Lawsuits should be filed & ranking Dems in Congress should act.

When reality doesn’t suit Trump, he does whatever he can to hide reality - whether that be suing media, lying, threatening - whatever it takes to manipulate his supporters to accept his false reality. Thing is, reality has a way of winning in the end. Hide polls all you like Trump - they are true.

I've written about the need for non-Murdoch media to resist adopting Murdoch's framing. Too often we see the rest of the media - including the ABC - joining Murdoch's pile-ons without scrutiny or balance, which makes them just as bad as Murdoch.

I've written about the need for non-Murdoch media to resist adopting Murdoch's framing. Too often we see the rest of the media - including the ABC - joining Murdoch's pile-ons without scrutiny or balance, which makes them just as bad as Murdoch.

MAGA supporters are never going to admit or even accept to themselves that their support for Trump has made the world more unstable, less safe, more economically insecure, more hateful and more divided. They are a movement hellbent on revenge because they’ve lost their privilege and want it back.

Sad about Phillip Adams getting sacked by the Australian after all these decades. Kinda glad tho that the increasingly ugly propaganda sheet has lost another of its fig leaves. It is not a respectable enterprise, and a small handful of good people can’t make it so.
