it has to be If I Could Tell Her from Dear Evan Hansen. it's got the same awful pop stylings of everything else but its the perfect combination of entirely vapid lyricism and being a sort of perfectly incredibly evil movement in a story that doesn't understand how evil it is

trapped in a loop where i keep pushing my "reading before bed" time earlier to sort of slowly read less and less engaging thing until i sleep, but i keep adding engaging things to the pile, necessitating more time to wind down and thus more things to the pile

the academy disappointing me once again. I was excited for the Trap (2024) and Monkey Man (2024) standoff but I guess we aren't ready for that as a society
