For some reason I agreed to take a (very, incredibly needy) foster puppy overnight. She almost certainly was taken away from her mom too soon. But the cuteness!

Someone spent his first 24 hours (maybe ever) without a dog buddy. He is timid but adjusting. The shelter asked me to take a 5lb dog tomorrow, so he will have a new buddy.

The puppy the bed belongs to moved out today, so I’m going shopping for a bed just for Bandit after work (puppy can’t be posted to the socials, so extra Bandit photo as dog tax)

Update on Bandit: Learning how to dog is going well. He likes to collect treasures overnight and sleep in too-small beds (he has choices). #uglydogs #adoptable

Bandit is a border collie mix, 1 of 12 dogs rescued from a hoarding case. I knew about the dogs, but an #uglydogs member sharing a photo of one of the other dogs is how Bandit ended up moving in with me. I reached out to the shelter I foster with after seeing their post, and learned Bandit (1/2)

Bandit is a border collie mix, 1 of 12 dogs rescued from a hoarding case. I knew about the dogs, but an #uglydogs member sharing a photo of one of the other dogs is how Bandit ended up moving in with me. I reached out to the shelter I foster with after seeing their post, and learned Bandit (1/2)
Update: Bandit seems to have settled in okay. He has a leash on because he is so skittish, it’s a temporary measure while he comes around to the idea that the human he is staying with is rather okay.

My new foster has not spent much time with humans, be we quickly figured out together that cheese is delicious and worth interaction for. #uglydogs

I promised the #uglydogs I would post photos of my fosters, and I felt we could all use some happy news today. This pup is doing great in his new home. He is obsessed with the cat and in love with his new family. They sent me this picture with the update.

Thought is was time for some DOGS on the timeline. This guy lived with me while he was looking for a more permanent residence (which he found). He is smart and sweet and goofy and wanted to fit his whole body on my lap. We are the same size.

My foster dog got adopted yesterday, by a couple that only met him because I was out for coffee with a friend the week prior and had him with me. They have reported he is being well spoiled and settling in nicely.
