I’m a retired military sergeant, and I’m not overly outwardly patriotic, but I do stand for the national anthem and other basic things like that. But I don’t like to be mistaken for a right winger just because I wear red white and blue. It wasn’t a political statement, it was just a dope shirt.

It pisses me off that liberals have basically ceded the American flag to the right, allowing them to basically own the ‘patriot’ label. We gotta take that shit back. I don’t actually see the point of flying an American flag while living in America, it’s kind of implied that you love your country.
