The Rosedale GC is open to walking in the winter on occasion when the course is snow covered. Don Valley GC is open to walking when the course is closed. Gates are then open to Earl Bales. There are a couple of river views in Hogg’s Hollow.

Know this area well. Not many public access points to the river from York Mills to Bayview - as you’ve figured out. The trail at Mildenhall is behind the Toronto French School. There are steps down but fenced off. You can walk west from Glendon under Bayview up river to Rosedale GC.
