Beautiful day to check out the new Biidaasige Park in the Portlands. Full of people. Many connecting trails, water access for boating and fishing, naturalized river vistas, picnic areas, variety of seating, native vegetation. It’s wonderful.

It's been a little bit since I've paddled thru all of the Toronto islands. Today's mission is to get to the Forestry, Donut and Harlan's islands.

The few small islands that don't allow visitors and are not accessable without a boat.

less than a week old, and fully functional, if not officially open

tunnel seen from the west side... it consists of seveal adjacent concrete rings which were maneuvered into placed all within the last week tunnel seen from the east side... two eastbound cyclists are emerging from the tunnel, while a man faces them taking a photo (and of course another man was facing them taking this photo)
