First three episodes of The Mighty Nein were as good as I'd hoped. Can't wait to see them all properly interact with each other as a group next week. I don't think the season will end where I thought it would though, which is a big surprise.

Turns out they're three white blokes from Leeds and the name is the Mac shortcut for 'Delta'.

The oddly wonderful thing about Ozzy Osbourne and, by extension, Black Sabbath was that for all the "Satanic Panic" nonsense and their influence on doom metal, I've always found their work joyous.

Unsurprisingly #AEWAllInTexas was incredible. No duff matches, a satisfying build and three matches at the end that are as good as you'll see anywhere. Best AEW womens match I've seen in years as well. Definitely a convert to Timeless Toni Storm.

25 years of the best game of all time. I remember buying it from a shop in the Trocadero on a day trip to London and just reading the manual over and over until I could get home to play it. I still have that physical copy all these years later. Just announce the remake already, Square!

Holy shit, Summer Geoff Fest was properly honking. Nearly two hours of some of the most generic, uninspired trailers you could think of with a couple of games at the end to try and send people home happy..

Comic Con was a really fun day. Some truly amazing cosplay (an excellent Ranni and D from Elden Ring were my highlight). Also got to meet the folks from @naturalsix.bsky.social who were all delightful.
