Incredibly close to finishing my entire Star Adders project, only have 2 stars of lights and small mediums to go, plus the Savage Wolf and Wendigo (which I'll prolly do first, the Savage's Wolf scheme is bugging me)

It'll be the first time I've finished painting a full faction in quite a long while

Good ol' B-movie horror schlock from the 80s, perfect for October viewing. Gets a bit boring around the last quarter of the runtime, but it also has a cute black cat as part of the cast as well as the sense to *not* kill it off, so it all evens out.

IMO I think there's a decent enough overlap between the two, once someone gets good enough at the game at their FLGS (or everyone else is too intimidated to play them) then it'd make sense that they'd want to face bigger challenges

I imagine it started out because the players wanted it- Wow, I can take My Dudes and officially compete with others, this is so cool!- and then it snowballed from there as all competitive scenes do, once meta-chasing became the primary goal then GW was able to ruthlessly exploit it

Little bonus for you all, another collection of sketches for Greenbone, One of the two leads in a BattleTech story I and some friends have been working on. A big, buff, bold, beautiful mess of a MechWarrior. The story's in its first revision stage, so I may wind up redesigning her, but these are some of the sketches where she showed up on the page juuuuust right.
