Why on earth would I ever know the model/make of running shoes, even the ones on my feet? I hate running shoes. I only had them on because I suspected we might go for a hike.
I bought these because they were the least hideous, and they're still hideous.

I have a pair of ugly running shoes I bought after the Paris Foot Collapse. We were visiting younger friends this weekend and Herself pointed to my shoes and said OMG! and a string of letters/#s that baffled me.
Apparently, these are the model she likes and they don't make them anymore?

He does that stupid "patriotic" song about putting a "boot up the ass" of I think Iraq and we're bludgeoned by it every 4th of July week when they close all 4 nights of the rodeo with that song on such volume that you can hear it .5 mile away through closed windows.

I fled a small gorgeous cheese shop in Paris because other people knew what they wanted, and it was busy, and I was totally overwhelmed. But it smelled lovely, and if I'd been there on a Tuesday it would have been fine.

I mean, I love my solar but the only reason I could afford it was that my mother left me just enough to cover it (that she left anything was a miracle).
Seeing what the power companies are doing, I'm glad I invested it that way.

Long noodles it's 1/2 a bag for the 2 of us with leftovers for my breakfast frittata. Short noodles, I measure by putting them in the dish I'm going to bake them in, eyeballing for swelling, and that usually works (we almost never eat short pasta that hasn't been cheesed under the broiler).

Oh I am more than willing to be a giant pain in the ass if I need to be.
But boy howdy, nothing instills confidence in a doctor you've never seen before than them griping about you. Rural health care is so much fun! (There's a lot of driving to the real hospital 90 minutes away in my future).

Because it's what grows in my yard, I usually wind up with tarragon, parsley, thyme, summer savory, mint (just a touch), sage. It's such a nice jolt of green in our 9 month winter.
Then I keep rosemary, bay leaf, and thyme in pots.
