This is obscene. 9/30, before the shutdown, US Treasury announced $8.8 million in Technical Assistance grants for Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) across the country. Now, staffers who administer those grants are part of the RIF (Reduction in Force) at Treasury.

Do you have a Target 360 Same Day Delivery Account? It's very easy to cancel. Call 800-591-3869 and say you set it up before you knew that Target was going to abandon its DEI efforts. If it's a monthly subscription, cancel it; if it's annual, cancel and ask for a pro-rated refund.

I just finished reading “The Book Thief” – the neighborhood book club’s selection for December. Once I stopped crying, I grabbed a book I read in November of 2020 – “Belonging,” by Nora Krug. The subtitle is, “A German Reckons with History and Home.”
