This is obscene. 9/30, before the shutdown, US Treasury announced $8.8 million in Technical Assistance grants for Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) across the country. Now, staffers who administer those grants are part of the RIF (Reduction in Force) at Treasury.

Good news – the US Dept. of Treasury has pushed back on last month's Executive Order targeting CDFIs, saying that the 11 programs of the federal CDFI Fund are defined by statute. But we can’t rest!
