I can't find the original post from @chordbug.bsky.social but if anything that only adds to the feeling of being gaslit.

Want a fast, simple, and small integer FFT implementation geared for 32-bit (ARM + RISC-V) processors? I have largely rewritten one of the more popular fix_fft implementations and got the OK by most recent maintainers to put it under the MIT license. github.com/cnlohr/fix32...

The number of times people have said ______ is the future and they were right is way higher than I ever would expect at the time.

It was the future then, and always will be the future.

Have any other 0603 10uF capacitors I should try? Turns out if it's an MLCC it is still pretty lame. You can't get around it by getting a cap with a higher voltage rating. Size does matter.

Good grief I didn't expect this much variation between various 0603 10uF MLCC Capacitors

Why do people do this? I just want to use gqrx, a small SDR app. Why do people not even think twice about the gigabyte of dependencies they bring in? Can we normalize feature requests of "please reduce your dependency tree"?

I am so glad I had the energy to just keep going after I tried all the RW flags in the datasheet.

It is so very rare my viewpoint for features lines up with anyone else's. I always feel like the odd man out. But also good to see that even when it does line up to others, the requests won't go anywhere either. At least I'm consistently not allowed to have nice things. github.com/actions/uplo...

Am I the crazy one? The inability to make AI go away causes me so much rage. Is it me who has become out of touch?

This truly is the worst timeline. We have git submodules in this timeline, but git clone does not by default clone submodules.

The import "brokerage charge" on my last item (not tariff or anything, just the fee UPS charges for charging tariffs) was $41. Oof. I mean the process was flawless, but I guess they figured out if you are trying to extract money from people, make it easy.
