This person has a passion for what you teach and clearly values your time - they always apologize for taking it! You're showing them they matter, their visits validate your importance to them.

Put your heart and soul into those people. They don't lose sight of what you do. They are your reminder ❤️

It's an incredibly tough and odd time to be an educator. I hope you can focus your energy/attention on those that appreciate what you do. And know from a distance, you have someone here that recognizes the value you bring and appreciate your efforts!

I wish you luck, thank you for what you do!

What YOU do matters.

Sounds like you're working with someone who is taking a pre-requisite/isn't engaged in what they signed up for. The other shoe WILL drop from them eventually.

I promise, many would tell you how much you meant to them if they understood how you felt. I know they're there.

Acerbic, if I asked you to tell me about a student you teach that's the opposite of this (attentative, follows guidelines, asks questions, appreciates your efforts), who comes to mind?

I've coached some self-centered kids w/ enabling parents. The challenges suck. But what we do still matters. (1)

I don't spend much time on this app. But I've seen your posts, I've appreciated who you are and what you stand for.

There's a lot of fear/misinformation out there. There's also SO many good people - including you! I hope over time you can find your tribe that validates that.

Always a DM away!

Thank you for your gesture.

My better half has a gluten/dairy/soy allergy. We've become well-versed in cooking a meal in advance for her, it means the world when she can show up somewhere and have a normal eating experience like everyone else.

The thought counts more than you probably know!
