Never wanted to be right. I don’t feel any better as a human being knowing I was right all along. Never been the point. This is what his base wants. They’d tell you this proves them right. They watched and cheered. Fuck being right, everyone thinks they’re right, lives are being lost. We all lose.

I have said that I would love nothing more than to be overreacting and proven completely and totally wrong. I’m still rooting for America and would have been as thrilled 8 years ago as I’d be today to say “wow he actually did a great job”, but instead I get to say “I told you so”. It’s not better.

They outsmarted the “smart” people who **checks notes** stood by and watched this happen, twice. It’s privilege to just say they’re “idiots”. Calling them idiots only serves to ignore the reality that an idiot with power and a mob still has power and a mob that can irreparably destroy life for all
people being like "this was their plan all along" forget that while this administration is fucking evil it's also staffed by fucking idiots

No matter what happens next, things will never be the same. History will tell our tales. Write your thoughts. Share your existence. Don’t let your experiences by erased by the fear of speaking your truths. Real history is written by the people in the moment. The people who refused to go quietly.

Obviously, yes, that. But as they continue this attack on the 14th Amendment, it cannot be overstated how important the 14th was/is for the vast majority of Americans. Many of our rights, freedoms, and protections are tied into the 14th and what it constitutionally means to be American.

Hey Bluesky, tell me about some things you love? Little things that maybe most don’t think of. Like I love the sound of the needle hitting the record right after you put it on. It reminds me of Saturdays at my grandmas off Coco and Nicolet. When that needle dropped, it was gonna be a good night!

After a few weeks of ok health it seems to be back to the old Spent 18 hrs a day the last 3 in bed with a need for oxygen. can make it a few hours but it gets too hard to ignore the brain fog, the fatigue, the abdominal cramping, the congestion of the chest, throat, the light and sound sensitivity

Alright, I’m serious this time. I’m gonna do the majority of my postings here at bluesky. The last few weeks I open the other apps and spend 45 minutes blocking and hiding things I don’t follow as they pop up. It’s exhausting and definitely impacts the mental health. So I’m all yours bluesky

Any Black Americans out there living abroad? I’d love to pick your brain a bit about it all. Not having an anti-anything conversation, I just want to hear from real people about their experiences in various places. I may have some opportunity coming up, but I’m completely ignorant on living abroad.
