These are not people who will vote if you berate them, they will not vote if you point out even more that Trump is awful.
You have to offer them *something* you have to suggest you might make a change!
This is why people are criticising Newsom and the Democrats.

I think this is a really strong element of why the centrist "Vote for us or you'll get the other guy" is a losing strategy that only makes everything worse.

It's so wild to me to see particularly because they are so SO sure they are the clever sensible smart rational reasonable folks in this.
But they are incapable of seeing that they are the ones ignoring the lessons, they are the ones who demand purity (of unerring support).
