I saw suggestions that getting the TA fired was the reason she took that class or course in the first place. The hatefulness is the be-all and end-all and, sadly, I would not be surprised if it's successful. I gather that OU has a poor track record when it comes to trans people.

It doesn't think, and that's a huge part of the problem. It gives statistically-weighted answer-shaped objects. Sometimes they resemble actual facts/reality but there is no thought behind it.
