Vet said it's ok to feed him whatever he'll eat right now but I'd like to find an actual cat food for him so we can get nutrition in him. And calories so we can chunk him up.

Don't worry, we've seen multiple vets and are dealing with the medical components. He was picky before this so finding something he'll eat now that he associates the foods he liked with feeling sick is quite the task.
