I listen to a lot of 1980's music. I also listen to a lot of baroque classical music, especially while I write. Spotify took it's best shot at making an "80s Mix" for me. Behold!

Vacation photos before the age of cell phones... I took this with a 35mm Canon AE-1 in Tibet in the '90s. I wonder what my Samsung Galaxy would have done with this. Would it have been a better picture, and would it bring back memories like this one does, with its imperfections?

Some might argue that we've always been in a trade war with a few countries, so some tariffs might be overdue. HOWEVER... declaring a trade war against literally EVERYONE is never a good idea. What we are seeing is not a panic. It's prices adjusting for the realization that the US is unpredictable.

This is what we are up against in the US. For decades, we nurtured a broken system that catered to the extremes more with each election. It's going to take a generation to heal our divisions, thanks to Trump and his cult.

I'm still proud to be an American, but this was embarrassing. You don't have someone come over for a visit and then shout them into oblivion. We need a third party, because the Republicans voted in these low-class imbeciles and the Democrats are rudderless. There is no accountability.
