yeah, the stick will be a problem on it's own. here's the best picture of the board i have. i tried to convert this over to using tac switches instead of the rubber dome buttons. it kinda worked. also some other pictures, the wiring was an issue. but with a board it shouldn't be.

digital calipers, i think it should be possible to get at least the physical layout to fit correctly without much issue. as far as the tech im not sure what micro controller would be best. also to get an actual analog stick more work is gonna need to be done. that's always the issue with these.

well my plan is if i go forward to pull the board and take high quality screenshots and remove whatever components possible and scan it with a actual scanner to get the best dimensions possible as well as being able to get the screw holes and pads correct. along with measurements using

Probably not back in the day. during release Sonic 3 was a big deal. if you had sonic 3 and liked it chances are you were getting Sonic and Knuckles since it only came out like a year later. but im sure there's some Gen Z kids and maybe even Gen A kids who found the console used somewhere, they did.

Any idea whats going on with the draw quad call? used on like the main menu and titlecard and stuff? it seemed to have extra points but i wouldn't figure that was a complicated function where it would have problems like that. just curious
