Really enjoying "Brave New Words, How AI will revolutionise education" by Salman Khan (CEO of Khan Academy).

Looks like it's hovering around 10% for FSM but the data stops at 2019, I'll look at ONS for any more recent data.
Agree that this is very low (I think ~25% of students get FSM).

Although "preparing students to become active and responsible participants in the workforce ..... to propel our Nation to new heights of scientific and economic achievement." seems to clash with $6bn of cuts to research grants.
