I don't use it to find new music, but the song radio algo seems decent (one of the areas Spotify has fallen off badly, imo). definitely worth a free trial at least

apparently that is improving. i'm not an audio quality guy, but it is noticeably better even with headphones - downside there is the higher bitrate can mean slower response times when jumping between/around tracks as it buffers

swtiched over a month ago and it's been good for my uses. the app is a bit clunkier, but way less bloated with promo'd garbage. the library is bigger/better than I expected, feels about 90-95% of Spotify in my experience. there are some issues with false matches of artists with the same name, though
