Given we're back talking about transformation I thought I'd plug the Spanish Dual Language program at the Minneapolis Public Schools.
My 2nd grader goes one of the three elementary schools in the district. The program continues as part of community Middle and High schools (Anderson and Roosevelt).

What a joy to meet w/ parents & volunteers of Collectiva Bilingua. More & more families value students having a bilingual edu: learning & meeting new cultures, perspectives, & people. We need to fully fund public schools so students reap these benefits & become adults ready for our diverse world.
