Always think and laugh at the Bill Hicks joke about Keith how he is miraculously still alive, “oh no Keith went over the edge!” “It’s alright there’s a ledge” Keith lives on the ledge beyond the edge. Even funnier now that Bill Hicks has been dead for more than 30 years

This season really turning me off too. The only episode I’ve liked is the one starring Kirk on the Farragut. Everything else has been too gimmicky and cutesy, just kind of embarassing

It was definitely my favourite episode of the season so far. You can tell Ethan Peck and Paul Wesley understand how important these early moments between Spock and Kirk are. They don’t play it winking at the audience, there’s just something easy between them that makes them both go “I like this guy”

Likewise the latest episode, the holodeck one. Yeesh. This show mostly rules and I like it a lot, but just stick with the TOS style action and morality playing and leave the gimmicks at the door.

It’s a terrible cover. The original art was not very good either. This movie deserves much better.

Also particularly liked Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrific, fun character and cool performance. He’s been killing it the last couple seasons of For All Mankind (playing a character that is basically what if Elon Musk was actually smart and cool) so was exciting to see him scene steal in Superman

Read it for the first time a couple years ago and I loved it. Out of the original 5 Bachman books, I’d put in the middle below Long Walk and Running Man, but much better than Rage and Thinner.

Here in Australia they say Paper, Scissors, Rock and it annoys me every time (I am from PA, growing up it was always rock paper scissors)

It is New Year’s Eve tradition in Australia (or at least Sydney) that Channel 9 plays this movie every year on free to air tv after the fireworks celebration finishes. Sydney has really over the top fireworks that go for like 20 minutes and then slam right into Can’t Stop the Music, every year
