then how, philosophically, is winning the cup less meaningful than the playoffs? like we are all here to see our teams compete, cheer for them, and celebrate victories
as a fan of a team that hasn't won a title since the late 70s, I would absolutely love to be so meaningfully honored

TBH as a blazer's fan, my team winning the NBA cup would be tremendously rewarding. Sometimes life is as simple as having your team win things is cool.
