What do you mean "create a code of conduct" there already IS a code of conduct that prohibits murdering people who are not using violent force. It is called the US Constitution.

If that's not binding ICE, neither will your agreement.

My citizenship status is pretty low-risk so this theoretically protects people like me and I unequivocally oppose this. A threat to one is a threat to all. Disgusting capitulation in the face of an overwhelming mandate. The bare minimum is abolition and I accept nothing less.

“In this moment when the vast majority of Americans are unhappy with Trump and his regime, I’m not going to demand taking DHS apart, the removal of Noem and Miller, and criminal prosecutions for murderous agents. Instead, I’ll demand a thing we already have.”

Profiles in courage.

‘Abolish ICE’ has become an increasingly popular position and people are being shot in the streets over it why the fuck would you dillweeds roll over like this. Especially given that citizenship is much more friable than people think it is this is not as protective as dems want it to look.

These agencies are a direct, ongoing threat to the freedom, safety, and welfare of every person who lives in this country. That's it. They have to go. "But what about--" sorry we'll figure that out later. Everything is secondary to ending fascist goon squads
