There were at least two other members of the church organisation on site. One of them appeared to try to reason with him, but then also asked the paying members of the public to leave.

We had used the church on at least three previous occasions without issue.

We had started late due to technical issues.

The crowd was amazed. A psychologist member of the audience approached the man in the dressing gown in case he was having some kind of episode.

His action delayed the vacating of the building, the opposite of his intention.
