GP recently changed my medication and it’s making me super sleepy in the day. NHS guidelines say I should change to the evening first before speaking to my doctor. Now should I just take them again tonight? Or skip tomorrow mornings and take them at night?

I’ve recently realized that I prefer Japanese comics over American-style comics. I think it’s because of the story format. American comics feel like they rush to wrap up the story in 15-20 pages, but Japanese comics, even with limited pages per chapter, feel more episodic.

日本の漫画の方がアメリカンスタイルの漫画より好きだなって最近気づいた。たぶんストーリーの形式が理由だと思う。アメリカの漫画はストーリーを15～20ページで終わらせようと急ぎすぎる気がするけど、日本の漫画は1話のページ数が限られていても、もっとエピソードごとに展開していて、ちゃんとした物語を読んでる感じがするんだよね。一話完結の短編みたいな感じじゃなくて、大きなストーリーの中で進んでる気がして好き。

Just finished watching 阿修羅のごとく or Asura on Netflix. Was kinda sad but also funny and touching. Great showcase of the sisters relationship.

First full week back at the day job. Back on cleaner eating plan and back to the gym. I bought a planner while in Japan and also wrote down some goals for 2025

I’ve noticed that whenever we have people visiting lately I have to take myself away for a break lol it’s like having g people round and all the added noise gets too much and I need to have a break from it.

Trying to sort out a sleep pattern is proving to be a pain. Since I’ve been back from Japan I sleep at such random times. Any advice would be helpful lol

One of my fav pictures of Japan. Me and my Penpal of 25 years hanging out in Kyoto. We were having a meal and people kept coming up to us and saying how nice we looked and I caught people taking pictures of us on the sky while we were eating and drinking.

So this is my COMITIA hull lol I bought quite a bit lol didn’t realise how much. One of the artists did a 100 day comic challenge and they even did a sketch of me in the cover. So cool!

Back in the uk after 3 weeks in Japan. Funny when it comes to the end of this long of a trip 3 weeks kinda feels too long but 2 weeks feels too short lol

Been in Japan for the last 3 weeks. It’s been an amazing time and I miss it already, even though I’m technically still here in Haneda airport lol
