Kill Bill 1 is one of my all time favorite movies but the orientalism runs deep. Part of the package with a Tarantino film I suppose.

Still reading some other manga series atm, not sure if I'll start another one yet. But very glad to cross this one off the list.

It's a very ambitious manga that is dense with information, history, and characters. Perhaps to its detriment at times, but the way it ties up everything is so well done that it's worth it. I think it's a series that would benefit from a reread someday because it is so dense.
