I'm pretty sure I'm the number one Weezer fan in the DMV.

Gamer, Nerd, Movie Buff, VHS Collector, and proud (?) to say I've watched every single episode of The Simpsons.

It really does feel like Paramount and Nickelodeon just don't know what to do with this IP since the 2012 cartoon ended in 2017. They've just been rebooting it over and over regardless of audience reception.

I will GLADLY take it over the bland-fest that was the 2018 film. The cardinal sin that one committed is the Grinch isn't even mean, he's just kind of a grump. Neither have anything on the Chuck Jones version, obviously.

To anyone who did follow along with this project for the past year: thank you!

This project has really helped keep me sane throughout the roller coaster that has been 2025, and I hope I can use this as inspiration to watch another show and give my thoughts!

You might be wondering what I'm going to do next since this project is essentially what I've used this account for.

I plan to do my top ten favorite and least favorite episodes, ranking every season, and releasing my full spreadsheet with an entire ranking.

As a fun fact, the amount of episodes which are non-canon according to WikiSimpsons (including all ToH and adjacent episodes) is sixty-seven (I am NOT quoting that meme).

Of course, you might consider any floating timeline episode to also be non-canon, so that number might be higher.

The show truly entered its "Zombie" years in Season 16, and it was stuck in this rut until the past few seasons which are better, but not "good again" like many have said.

Do not do what I did and watch every episode. Just check out the highlights I've recommended.

A thesis I went into this project with was: "When did the Simpsons become bad?" And that question is still complicated.

I believe the Golden Age ended after Season 8, but the show didn't become immediately bad. Seasons 9 through 15 are decent all things considered.

It had always been a lifelong goal of mine to watch every episode, and I'm happy to have fulfilled that.

I loved going through the classic seasons once again, and watching episodes I had never seen before in the later years was both interesting and taxing.

This era of the show has definitely done good things for the overall rating. Despite still being below some of the best of the middle years, this season is at least mostly watchable from start to finish.
