The IPA has a new report which finds, it's not climate breakdown that is causing anxiety in children, but the evil of sustainability lessons. 🤔

Thanks to every news outlet that has ignored this nonsense (not News Corp).

UPDATE!

Queensland Museum has removed some of its Shell-sponsored education materials from its website following our report into systemic bias.

We're thrilled to report that Victorian public schools must now consider climate change when choosing sponsors.

We've seen shocking cases of coal, petrol and gas companies push misinformation through school programs.

We hope the historic recognition that greenwashing, disinformation and fossil fuel ads are hindering climate efforts will be the beginning of cleaner COPs
November 23, 2025 at 10:56 PM
And any advertising or PR agency with fossil fuel clients (looking at you Edelman) should be ruled out of COP31 contracts. It's a clear conflict of interest.
November 23, 2025 at 10:56 PM
Australia, the Pacific and Turkiye should demonstrate leadership now by banning fossil fuel advertising, as has already been done in over 40 jurisdictions around the globe.
November 23, 2025 at 10:56 PM
The Host Agreement between the UNFCCC and Turkiye should explicitly rule out any fossil fuel sponsors of COP31.

EV charging features heavily in ads for Australian petrol giant Ampol - which is failing to meet its rollout targets.

South Australia is a leader in renewables, so why are government buses still calling methane gas 'clean and green'? 😮

Comms Declare has asked Ad Standards to investigate Adelaide Metro buses for potential greenwashing.

When is a front page story not journalism?

In our second submission to the Senate Greenwashing inquiry, we argue that advertising features are an open door for misleading the public on climate change.
