Depending on how willing you are to make the solution overly complex, you can have some server that utilizes something like LavaRand giving clients seeds. It could then track when those seeds are given out. To make it checkable the community can ask the server if and when a seed was used. Lol

It drove me insane because they somehow knew how to fix the translations but did not know how to fix the shaders.

My conclusion was that it was likely they had manually fixed the translation.
