8th grade is when we studied the Constitution, and were required to pass the test in order to proceed to 9th grade. Good on these young people!!
Interesting/cool thing this morning: at an assembly an entire 8th grade class refused to rise for the Pledge of Allegiance. When the AP asked them why, they said "in protest of the actions of this president and government.
And he said "that is your constitutional right."
