It's standard enough until you look to your right and realise you are right under Mt Blanc 😂

You'll have to go back someday for the telé up to Aiguelle du Midi

Plans available on line

11 trees are being removed over a 1.4km distance.

New trees will be planted.

1 tree is being removed for a footpath.

9 trees being removed could be retained if on street car parking is not included in sections of the scheme.

~91 trees unaffected.

This little patch by BusAras in Dublin shows the potential of small spaces when regularly maintained.

"Green spaces" on Coburg St still look awful.

These need to be planted up and maintained properly

In the interests of balance, here's a more positive outcome .

Faded shared path logo repainted.

What's annoying about the customer service request procedures in Cork City is that you log a ticket and you rarely get an email acknowledgement or reply.

In some instances works are carried out, but in others, (like the cycle lane below to Bcollig), nothing is done and you don't know why.

Back in 2018 the IE quoted me as saying 'Much of the design could be described as “tokenism”' regarding the Sarsfield Road Strategy Transport Corridor project.

2025, and those comments are still valid in my opinion.

There's clearly a need for operational AGS parking near the Bridewell.

But parking across the paths and pedestrian plazas isn't the solution.

The photo below from @lmkurbancycling.bsky.social is what Knapp's Sq should look like

However it's being used as a rat run to avoid the Christy Ring Br x Camden Q junction. Most vehicles turn right illegally

With €1M + of p investment, this scheme needs to be either fixed or referred to the PAC

There's still a sign missing on the other side saying that cyclists are permitted to turn right.

People are supposed to be able to cycle in between the cars and the kerb in both directions here. Still haven't figured that one out.

Thank you to Cllr Ciara O'Connor of @labourpartyireland.bsky.social who has kindly offered to raise the concerns and wishes of everyone who signed this petition with City Hall.

🤞 For positive news in the coming weeks

⚠️A 70cm cycle lane unprotected from 60-80kmh traffic is lethal.
