I just cannot get over that there are TROOPS from another state in my city without the express consent of my mayor and governor. The demented president is ruling by decree and ~40% of this country does not recognize this as monarchism. The legislature refuses to meet and has shut down the government

The administration just issued a rule slashing foreign agricultural worker wages. And to justify it, in a public filing, Trump's Labor Department alleges that Trump's immigration enforcement has devastated the Ag workforce and caused a "risk of supply shock-induced food shortages."

The 40 yo AC actually helped in the long run - it let us “need” more solar because they use past kW draw to size the system, so we just ate it for a short while knowing what our end goal was. Mwahahaha

That’s why we did it when we did. Our roof gets lots o’ sun and with hubs’ electric truck, it made sense. Our system is also HUGE because of the giant energy suck of our old AC from the last few years, so there’s a good shot the whole output will exceed our use now, much to eversource’s chagrin 😈

We just finished converting our house to energy independence. (Heat pump, solar, hw heat pump.)

The system will pay for itself in 5 years, but we had to take a home equity loan to do it, which we can manage.

Renewables should be attainable for all and this fucking regime is making it ever harder.
