If you need medication where it would be a serious problem to go without it for an extended period of time you aren't eligible for combat roles, but I thought stuff was more relaxed for other placements. Idk though, I've never joined a military lol.

For folks who have no other options, joining the military is a way to escape abusive family and have a guaranteed job for a few years as long as you don't do anything that would get you discharged.
