Back to slightly gross-looking protein shakes for breakfast. Tastes delicious, looks bloody awful. Gonna take the dogs out for an hour at lunch today to keep up the fitness in the absence of gym. (Feat the start of this year’s fun Christmas jumpers!)

In London for the second time in 3 weeks. Everyone is so busy and FAST. I've been living rural for so long that the big city is quite overwhelming. Oh well, at least the people are hot.

I live in a little part of the world where hate just lost in a significant way and hope won. A progressive party winning on a proudly progressive platform, vs Reform who'd been peddling some pretty hateful bile, and were predicted to win by all the polls.

Been trying to bake along with each week of Great British Bake Off this year, and now my kitchen has been totally ripped out to make way for a new one I'm missing my weekly bake. See citrus flapjacks, millionaire's shortbread and a chickpea madras plaited pastry. Alongside my lack of kitchen.
