Language use is important. There is nothing wrong with calling people "migrants", or shouldn't be, and refugees are, technically, migrants. That said, if you are reporting on people coming to the UK to seek safety you should be reporting on them as "people seeking asylum". #r4today

one of the reasons bluesky works differently is because early users waged a successful fight to get the devs to prioritize safety features to protect communities at risk
