This is sad. Makes me think about Beatrice Foods, which private investing firm KKR purchased -- then destroyed -- in 1986.

There is no "Miracle Mile Shopping Center" in Chicago. But there is one in Las Vegas. Chicago's stretch of store fronts and shopping malls is called the Magnificent Mile. What a maroon.

Good for the people of Dallas. But paving the way? Chicago PD has refused to cooperate with or facilitate any ICE enforcement actions since 2019 (during Trump's first term).
