And we knew this. This wasn't speculation. We studied it, we had the talking points. We trained volunteers to explain this to people. It's not a surprise. Rich people don't flee places with good quality of life when we increase the quality of life. They might try to cheat us, but they don't leave.

Character reference sketch for a humanoid insectoid creature - in Dungeons and Dragons, this most closely resembles Thri-Kreen. The central figure is a full body pose of a tall character leaning on a longbow. They have long limbs which are insectoid at the joints and extremities, and a short pair of extra arms midway down their torso. The character is wearing a scarf and a small loincloth/belt with thigh holsters attached to it that have pouches affixed. The character is posed in a way that looks like they're waving. Their neck is long and their head is small and bug like, with large insectile jaws. There is a small rough silhouette sketch of them in profile to one side with the hood of their scarf pulled forward, covering their head to look more birdlike. There is also a sketch of their face which is labelled like an anatomical diagram, that clearly shows a design somewhere between a mantis and a tiger beetle. Maxi was a very silly shark hybrid sorcerer I was commissioned to create a character reference and avatar for in 5e. He had no memory and decided to become a superhero. #characterdesign #dnd5e
MaxCrunch Akula Matata (Maxi) is the heading. Below this is a full body portrait (back and front) for a humanoid hammerhead shark character. The character is wearing a stylised purple vest that allows his dorsal fin to remain exposed, and hotpants coupled with thigh high leg guards that leave his webbed feet free for swimming. There are two busts of the character from the neck up, one looking vicious and gleeful, the other looking serenely cheerful. The latter is notated with "sounds of potato rotating" as though all that is going on inside is his brain microwaving a potato. The reference chart also includes emblems and colours. It's clearly for a quite silly character.
