Yeah it was Minecraft that started us playing co-op regularly, but she only enjoyed creative and that just didn’t do it for me haha. But there’s a Minecraft Easter Egg in Borderlands 2 and that was a sweet coming together moment.

I don’t remember exactly when I started playing Borderlands 2 with my daughter, but it could have been when she was 8 or 9. It was definitely around the time it was out on PSN for the PS3, so it’s been our family game for about 13 years.

Oh you really should make it a family affair. For all of the series’ flaws, I really love Borderlands and whether couch or internet coop I’ve had hours of good times with friends and family.

As it happened, without setting an alarm my body decided it wanted me to wake up just after 6am (kickoff). Thought about getting up, then went back to sleep. Then woke up again and had to pee so stayed up and watched the second half before going back to bed.
