Hurts was not good, but I am telling you that offensive line is atrocious. Troy Aikman can praise them all he wants. They are bad. The only reason they gain any yards on the ground at all is because they have a phenomenal back in Barkley.

How does Miami jump up two places when they didn’t play and Notre Dame drops one when they didn’t play? It just doesn’t pass the smell test.

I don’t care that Miami got in, but if they got in, then Notre Dame should be in and Alabama out. ESPN wanted Alabama in. The ACC bought in for one of their teams. This whole thing is ridiculous. It should be called the ESPN/ABC invitational tournament.

You say that, but you seem to be the one discounting Notre Dame’s win over NC State on October 11. If a season is a season then a win should be a win. Seems “effectiveness” in winning is kind of subjective. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder?

N.C. State? ND played them mid October and beat them 36-9. Miami beat them 41-7 last week. Pretty comparable but ND did it a month earlier. I think right now ND has improved more and is playing better than Miami. Again, just my opinion. They are comparable, which was your original point.

I have a fire hydrant less than 500 feet from my house and it has never impacted what I pay for homeowners insurance insurance.

I think Notre Dame at this point in the season is a better team than Miami. Just my two cents.
