i think studios biggest problems could be solved by having a 1970s style renaissance where they go back to smaller movies and support the hell out of the filmmakers

while I agree that Netflix isn’t as awesome as it once was, if they give us a new knives out every year, and 2 to 3 TV series I like, I’ll continue to pay the 25 bucks a month. That’s what we used to pay for a single movie channel to watch one show.

they may not renew shows often, but they have given a lot of Indie folk the ability to run with a concept without intervention. They helped renew mystery science Theatre for two seasons.
