The only way to keep nice communities is to keep them small. As soon as they go "mainstream" it is too tempting to too many people to manipulate, rig, and use them as tools to influence and sell shit to everyone

This happens a lot in Godot as well, I would love for us to be able to go faster in this front. A lot of progress was made but there's still so much left!
