Burned out cars and pickup trucks - twisted masses of rusting metal, red-brown, grey-blue and green - some upright, others upside down, revealing abstract, eroded mechanical sections amongst the decay. A lone burned out, rusted car surrounded by grey asphalt - almost twisted beyond recognition. Open boot of a burned out car surrounded by other wreckage. Yet more burned out cars - one with the structure of the roof sagging downwards, presumably from the intense heat of the fire.

Thick, tightly bound bundles of thin, old wiring, branching out into ever-smaller tributaries before ending at many rows of dark screw terminals - resembling more a dissected nervous system than a rack of telephone exchange hardware.
