The fact that EVERY TIME they say it it’s also with the tone of “get it, get it?” made me close the first game before I got through act 2.

Second one has more going for it obviously but I never said “boy I can’t wait to go back to the world of Divinity”

I’m also very tired of Larian god stories

At least once a week we get some new story about AI infesting public schools under the auspices of a “partnership” and IMO this is more damaging long-term for kids than anything Linda McMahon could do.

It’s not.

It’s 2025. If people don’t know how poisonous the AI shit is at this point that’s a level of stupidity so gross I’d say it’s ethically on par with doing using it with full knowledge of its impact

Shoutout Henry Barajas and Helm Greycastle for one of the only times I’ve seen that as high fantasy in comics

Acme Pie (also Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse on Columbia Pike) are great.

That’s fair. I was literally talking about Pinball Basement to someone yesterday. This was just slandering Punch Bowl Social.

Also, in Arlington’s defense, it’s got my favorite bar in the world.

I have never once hid my Alexandria favoritism

In a weird way, hearing them weather all that unfazed made it more endearing when several people on the Council looked like they were barely staying in their chairs when they rebuked someone for using the R-slur in the public comments

Arlington has an arcade and it’s a national chain restaurant/bar.

Alexandria has a new arcade and it’s a couple guys fixing up an obscure rare X-Men game and basically building a restaurant around it behind a car shop

Even the city’s scandals are funny. A school board member got so mad in a discussion he not only left the meeting but up and quit the board. I’ve been in meetings where speakers threatened to spank council members. I cover all the DMV now and there’s nowhere as delightfully bizarre as Alexandria
