This article still gets a lot of comments about why the politics of Brave Browser matters. It's the first thing mentioned because Brave *would not exist* if Brendan Eich didn't get kicked out of Mozilla for doubling down on homophobia. That's its origin story.
Comments on a Hack-a-Day thread: Forst paragraph and this guy is already ranting about the politics of the founder. Says the browser is pushed by “crypto evangelists”. Seems he knows well his target audience is the type to lap this up while typing on an iPhone. Propaganda news article that interjects nonsensical politics into the matter. There’s nothing wrong with Brave browser, it works great whenever I use it. FF is still my main though

If your webcam is bad and you think you need a new one, buy a light instead. I have a Logitech C920 that's like a decade old with a separate mic and Logitech Litra Glow light, and it works well.

The portrait mode in macOS is also great, NVIDIA Broadcast and Copilot+ PCs have a similar feature.

Finished my replay of BioShock Infinite! Still a gorgeous game that is a lot of fun, the current PS4/PS5 version is solid.

The story is a lot more scattered than I remember, though. It throws a lot of politics and themes at the wall and none of them really stick.

The new home page for Link Cleaner is live! I reworked the main URL text field to support multiple lines, so more of the link is visible on smaller screens. There's also a lot more padding in the initial interface, more like the Google home page.

Comment 1: "Don’t feel bad for those who bought one. They obviously have more money than brains so they’ll be fine. Idiots will probably not even care and have already ordered the new M5 model." Comment reply: "I hold a doctorate, and at age 58, I have additional funds for hobbies and am anything but an 'idiot'. Stating that folks who purchased the AVP 'have more money than brains" and calling them "idiot'" says more about you than it does anyone else. Your post reeks of someone who is bitter and lashing out because their minimum wage job at The Gap doesn't provide the financial resources needed to purchase one."
